Carl obtained his ASQ Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence Certification (CMQ/OE) in 2016. Then in 2017, in his first public speaking, he presented at the 26th Annual ASQ Audit Division Conference in Addison, TX. Next, he was elected as ASQ Chair for SW Washington and held this role for 3 years; 2018-2020. In 2018, Carl presented and spoke about Supplier Quality Management at the ASQ World Conference on Quality and Improvement, held in Seattle, WA (pictured).
That was not the beginning however, he is a Lifelong Learner and believes knowledge is a journey; not a destination. Since 1998 Carl has obtained multiple technical degrees (AASET & BSIT) and certifications including becoming an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) in 2015 and completed Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt training in 2019.
Carl believes and has implemented sustainable solutions in manufacturing and services that increased business margins, employee morale, and customer satisfaction.

Carl has designed, developed, and implemented everything from a 3P© Technical Training System That reduces time to productivity, increases first-time fix rate, and decreased callbacks. Then SIP© Supply Improvement Program worked closely with international suppliers to increase product quality and on time delivery for the customer. Improvements from SIP are also realized by reducing supply chain disruptions, transportation costs, and general smoothing of SiPoC workflows. Additionally, he was one of three contributors to the ASQ Certified Quality Auditors Handbook, Fifth Edition, Editor; Lance B. Coleman, Sr. As an ASQ CQA, he provided subject matter content in the review of this Book-Of-Knowledge released August 2020.
